Aplus Advances with A321 C-Check Capability Approval

Aviation Partnership Philippines (Aplus) celebrated another milestone in its continuous pursuit of operational excellence and aviation maintenance capability expansion with the official CAAP approval for Airbus A321 C-Check maintenance at the Aplus Base Hangar in Clark International Airport.

On May 7, 2026, the newly granted approval expands Aplus’ existing Airbus A320 maintenance capability to include the Airbus A321 NEO and CEO fleets powered by both CFM56 and PW1100G engines, strengthening the company’s position as a growing and trusted maintenance organization in the Philippine aviation industry.

The Airbus A321 NEO and CEO aircraft are among the most widely utilized narrow-body aircraft in the aviation industry today, recognized for their operational efficiency, advanced technology, and vital role in both regional and international operations. With the inclusion of both CFM56 and PW1100G engine platforms under its approved capability, Aplus further strengthens its technical readiness and maintenance expertise in supporting modern Airbus fleet operations.

While this newly approved A321 capability will initially support Cebu Pacific’s expanding fleet operations, it also opens doors for greater opportunities ahead. It shows another step toward strengthening Aplus’ presence not only within the local aviation industry, but eventually across the wider international aviation community.
