Aplus Completes Its Historic First C-Check at Clark Facility

In March 2026, Aviation Partnership Philippines marked an operational milestone with the successful completion of its first C-Check on aircraft RP-C4136 at the Clark Base Hangar. The aircraft was inducted into maintenance on March 12, 2026, for a comprehensive C-Check and was returned to service on March 24, 2026.

This signals a major step forward in Aplus’ base maintenance capability, demonstrating its commitment to undertake heavy maintenance checks while upholding stringent standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The maintenance program covered a full range of inspections and required tasks including structural and systems inspections, lighter check activities, out-of-phase (OOP) maintenance tasks, weight and balance, and rectification of findings in accordance with approved data and procedures.

The delivery of this first C-Check highlights the strength of collaboration among Aplus’ base maintenance personnel and support teams. It reflects a shared commitment to operational excellence as the organization continues to expand its capabilities at Clark.

More than a technical achievement, this milestone represents the passion and pride of the people who made it possible. It is a moment shaped by long hours and collective effort, one that will be remembered as a defining step in Aplus’ journey.

The successful completion of this project would not have been possible without the strategic vision of General Manager Mark Jefferson C. Sulit, whose hands-on leadership kept the team focused and aligned from planning to execution.

I am proud with the successful completion of Aplus first C-check at our Clark Base Hangar. We extend our sincere appreciation to Cebu Pacific for their trust and partnership. This is a significant milestone that made possible by the team’s discipline, technical knowledge, and passion for excellence. This achievement reflects our strong commitment to delivering safe, high-quality maintenance while continuously elevating our capabilities.”

Equally vital was the presence of Aplus’ key partners whose support helped navigate Aplus’ operational challenges.

Above all, this milestone owes its success to the trust and confidence of Cebu Pacific, the Parent Airline of Aplus, whose belief in the team’s capability made this ambitious undertaking possible. Together, the partnership and support of these collaborators turned a complex plan into a landmark achievement, one that sets a bold benchmark for the future of Aplus’ base maintenance capabilities.
